Sunday was a gorgeous fall day and just perfect for an excursion into the country. Jim and I (& the three shelties) met Robin and Steve for a trip to a beautiful newly opened apple orchard. It didn’t start to rain until later in the day and, by that time, we were inside sipping hot cider and letting those warm frosted pumpkin donuts melt in our mouths!

It was our pleasure on this beautiful autumn day to show our 2 acre apple orchard home to our good friends Coralie and Jim. The “girls” were darling and seemed to enjoy the scenery as well. The rain did not put a damper on our cider-sipping afternoon at all, as our conversation and comeradery was the best part of our adventure.

Yes! An awesome adventure it was! The shelties, Ginger, Carrie and Bonnie had a good time, too. We’ll do it again soon! Hopefully before the snow flies!

Oh I love the pictures ! It is so green there. I can just image the fresh air smell of rain, and cider and warm donuts. My dad was a baker so I know that warm donuts are the Best!
