Our very old “Mr. Coffee” coffee maker has decided to slow down. A lot! Jim has run both a shot of vinegar through it and, later, some chemical called CLR, but it’s still not working the way it should. I know! It’s old. Right! But it’s my favorite. Any ideas?

My Mr. coffee is less than a year old and we constantly have to clean it with vinegar. I might be going back to what we had before which was a Bunn.

Hi Karen! Haven’t tried the Bunn. We bought a Black & Decker the other night and tried it out. Very inconvenient lid which doesn’t fit well under our kitchen cabinets. We tried it anyway, but the coffee just wasn’t as good as the Mr. Coffee. We’re still limping along with old Mr. Coffee. But the coffee is still delicious!
